Summary

Alaska is one of the most gun-supportive states in the United States. You can pretty much own any gun, there are no "assault weapons" bans, gun control laws are lax, and the culture is very pro-gun. Alaska is a great place to live if you enjoy your 2nd Amendment freedoms (and bears).

The only minor restriction is you have a duty to inform an officer you have a firearm in your vehicle if pulled over.

Those 21 years of age or older do not need a permit to carry concealed.
